Jessica & Stephen’s wedding at The Hive at Sandy Creek was such a meaningful day to photograph. Everything about their day felt intentional, from the colorful spring colors to the way their ceremony reflected what matters most to them.
Jessica & Stephen leaned into spring colors and their florals especially brought that to life. The ceremony arch was bursting with color and the bouquets were stunning!
One of the sweetest moments early in the day was Jessica’s first look with her dad. It was a reminder of what a big moment this day was for their families too. Jessica & Stephen chose to wait until the ceremony to see each other, and Stephen’s reaction when she walked down the aisle said everything. You could tell how much he loves her!
Even though their wedding day was the first time I met Jessica & Stephen, I knew from phone calls with them that faith was important to them. Throughout the day, I witnessed this more clearly – in their vows, in the way their friends and family spoke about them, and in the way they treated each other. Their wedding was a celebration of their marriage, but also rooted in their love for the Lord.
Instead of a traditional exit at the end of the night, Jessica & Stephen planned a fun send-off before the dancing started. Since the sun was still out, the light caught every bubble perfectly. These were some of my favorite images of the day!
