Ashlyn & Owen’s spring couples’ session was so beautiful! We met at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, North Carolina. I’ve known Ashlyn since we were little, and it was so fun to get to photograph her and Owen.
We started at the arboretum which is behind the Manor House and then switched outfits for a secluded field location in the park. Discussing outfit options is one of my favorite parts of prepping for a session. Ashlyn and Owen chose great outfits! Here are a couple tips I give my couples for choosing outfits:
- Solid or Neutral Colors
Solid or neutral colors photograph the best! If picking clothing with a pattern, simple and neutral is the way to go!
2. Complement each other
Picking colors that go together is a must! Neutral colors are easy to match!
3. Plan ahead according to locations
This is something I can help you with prior to your session! We will talk about locations to pick the perfect outfit for each location. This includes the color of the background, the beginning or end of the session based on the sun, and more!
