It was time for a new haircut, headshots, and an updated introduction!
Hi there! I’m Emma Jo, a Winston-Salem, North Carolina based Wedding & Senior Photographer. 2024 has been a busy year. I spent the spring photographing a ton of seniors and also preparing for our May 31 wedding. My husband’s name is Max and he is my #1 supporter, so you’ll see his face around here. He also took these headshots and he is an AMAZING photographer. Max second shoots for me occasionally, so you might see him at your wedding!
We’ve spent the summer traveling, decorating our house, and enjoying married life. We’re headed to Boston next! I’m also preparing for a busy fall season with 9 weddings!
Here are a few fun facts about me…
I’m a barista turned photographer, so I’m always working at one of my favorite coffee shops. My favorites in the Winston-Salem area are The Coffee Mill (I’m a former employee), Dough Joe’s, and The Remedy Cafe.
We have a black lab named Layla! Sometimes we can’t believe she’s a rescue because she really is the best dog. Well-behaved and sooooo sweet!
I LOVE reading! I used to be a romance-only kinda girl but I’ve been super into mysteries and historical fiction. I share everything I’m reading on my Instagram story, so make sure to check it out if you want recommendations!
Last one… I have a new obsession with lemons! Lemon decor, especially for my kitchen, is my favorite. I’m also loving clothes with lemons on them – exhibit A, my dress below!
