Emily & Dequan chose to do their engagement session along the Blue Ridge Parkway, a place that means a lot to Emily because she graduated from Appalachian State. We planned for a June evening and the forecast looked perfect, but as we both drove into Boone, the clouds rolled in. If you’ve spent time in the NC mountains, you know the weather changes so quickly!

It drizzled for the first part of their session, but it didn’t bother them! We waited it out, shooting under the covered porch at the Moses Cone Manor and eventually the rain moved on. We even got to see a rainbow and a beautiful sunset.

I can’t wait to celebrate these two on their May wedding day in Thomasville!
