How do I even begin to describe Claudia & Andrew’s wedding day?

Let me start by saying that Katie & Anna Blue from Katie Brooks Event Co. are the best wedding planning team. They created a truly one-of-a-kind wedding day for The Vinsons. Claudia’s mom works at The Kinsleeshop Farm, so she has seen many beautiful weddings held there. Claudia wanted their day to be different, to stand out. At the beginning of the planning process, Claudia described what it feels like to be with Andrew. Katie took this description and ran with it, creating the vision for their wedding day out of it.

When I say every detail was thought about, I mean EVERY detail. From beautiful custom invitations, stationery, and signage, florals galore (thanks to the talented Springvine Florals WS), to an inviting tented reception full of spring florals, a live bluegrass band, and furniture from Bespoke Rentals.

The perfect design did not go unnoticed by their guests and vendors. Although the most unique and striking part of their wedding day was how thoughtful Claudia & Andrew were in incorporating their people and making their wedding day actually feel like them. No copying others or Pinterest inspiration!

Let me share just a few of their unique, thoughtful touches throughout the day…

Claudia’s getting-ready robe was fashioned from her mom’s wedding dress. She had three sweet first looks with her brother, her dad, and finally with Andrew.

Wedding bands were placed under two separate random chairs to be found by two lucky guests during the ceremony.

Claudia made an entrance to their ceremony with her dad in the Kinsleeshop’s vintage car driven by a friend she has known since she was little. Claudia & Andrew drove away as newlyweds in the car too!

C+A wrote handwritten letters to each couple/guest.

The tables guests sat at for dinner were decorated with vintage books from Claudia’s mom’s book collection. Andrew helped bring the vision to life by building the bar/shelving for the tent.

Coasters, matchbooks, and cigars were an ode to their pet betafish named P.Earl. He even got to be a guest at the wedding, greeting guests at the bar!

Dessert was milk & cookies made by both C+A’s grandmothers. Claudia & Andrew served each guest.

At the end of the night, there was a late-night pizza snack, a cigar bar, a coffee cart, and my favorite – lots of 90s country music!

Claudia & Andrew love each other and love their people! Again and again, their family & friends talked about how it is evident that God brought these two together. These two special people are as sweet and kind as they look!
