Reynolda Gardens is one of my favorite places in photograph in Winston Salem! It is super pretty all year long and there is so much variety. I can spend an entire engagement or couples session there without needing another location! This is exactly what we did for Zoe & Ty’s couples session back in October.
There are a number of spots within walking distance around Reynolda Gardens that I love to take my couples to. With Zoe & Ty, I started at the stone bridge that is on the trail that leads over to Wake Forest University. The fall foliage around the creek on that trails was so pretty! The fall colors were really popping! After that, we finished this sunset session in the gardens. There was still plenty of florals and greenery in late October!
I loved the outfits that Zoe & Ty picked for their session. One of the most difficult things about planning couples photos is deciding what to wear. I always suggest couples bring two outfits to their sessions – dressy & casual. Zoe & Ty started with their more dressy option. The balance of the light colors on her dress and his pants with the simple, dark jacket and flannel paired perfectly. Their second outfit was color-coordinated perfectly and was super cozy once it started getting a little cooler at sunset.
